Trans Dating Canada: Meet Trans Singles and Admirers

More than 1,600 members in Canada, on one fun and discreet site.

My Transgender Secret has more than 1,600 members in Canada, more than in any country except the UK and the USA. Most of them live in Ontario, British Columbia, Alberta and Quebec. It is a fun space for trans singles and the people who admire them, and your private life stays private.

Ontario leads, with members coast to coast

Ontario is home to more than 700 members, the biggest group in the country, with people in Toronto, Ottawa, Hamilton, Kingston and Kitchener. It also has the most CD/TRANS members, more than four in ten of Canada's total. British Columbia and Alberta come next with more than 250 members each, from Vancouver and Nanaimo to Edmonton and Calgary. Quebec has more than 150, including members in Montreal.

Manitoba and Nova Scotia each have more than 50 members, in places such as Winnipeg and Halifax, while Saskatchewan and New Brunswick have smaller groups. Canada is big, so decide how far you would travel for a date: not far in downtown Toronto, further on the Prairies. Distance already counts in your daily matches, and a VIP search can narrow things by city and distance. Our page on trans dating near you has more on finding people close by.

A grown-up crowd, mostly 25 to 54

More than a third of members in Canada are 35 to 44, the biggest age group here and a larger share than on the site as a whole. About one in five is 25 to 34, nearly one in five is 45 to 54, and more than one in six is 65 or over. Very few are under 25.

Members in Canada by age.

Nearly nine in ten Canadian members are men, and more than 130 joined as CD/TRANS, the sign-up choice for trans and crossdressing members. The site is made for exactly that mix: trans women, crossdressers and their admirers, with trans men and non-binary people welcome too.

Your secret stays yours

Your profile carries a username, never your real name or email, and other members see your nearest town, not your street. A free ID check adds a blue tick, a live video check with a moderator needs no documents, and you can block anyone the moment they make you uneasy. The safety page covers reporting, photo screening and the rest.

Go VIP and the site name stays off your bank statement. On a phone, open the site in your browser and add it to your home screen, and it opens like any other app: our trans dating app page shows how.

Three villages for a first drink

Toronto's Church-Wellesley Village, on Church Street, is the city's main LGBTQ+ neighbourhood and the centre of Pride Toronto every June, Trans March included. Montreal's Village runs along Sainte-Catherine Street East, which becomes a pedestrian street lined with patios in summer, and Fierté Montréal fills the city from late July into August. In Vancouver, Davie Village in the West End has Canada's first permanent rainbow crosswalk, at Davie and Bute, and is the centre of Vancouver Pride each August. After a drink there, a stroll down the hill to English Bay keeps the conversation going.

Trans Lifeline, run by and for trans people, has its own Canadian line for peer support when you need a friendly ear.
