Leeds and West Yorkshire
Trans Dating Leeds: Trans Singles and Admirers in West Yorkshire
Meet trans singles and admirers from Bradford and Wakefield too.
Trans dating in Leeds draws on the whole of West Yorkshire. More than 200 My Transgender Secret members live across the county, and about one in ten joined as CD/TRANS, the sign-up choice for trans and crossdressing members. Nearly half of that group is under 35. If you want to meet trans women in Leeds, or trans singles and admirers anywhere in the county, this is the place to start.
Young, seasoned and everything between
Leeds has the biggest share of 25 to 34 year olds of any city we cover, at more than a quarter, and a third of members are 35 to 44. Yet nearly one in five are 65 or over, so older members are well represented too. It is a broad crowd, and one that rewards a profile saying clearly what you are after.
You set the pace here: show your face from the first day, or share a photo only after a good chat. New to all this? Start with a simple profile and add more as your confidence grows.
Mostly 25 to 44, with room for everyone

Under the rainbow bridge
The gay quarter runs beneath the rainbow railway bridge on Lower Briggate and round The Calls. It is compact and walkable, which makes it handy for a first drink: if the conversation flows you can move on to somewhere else, and if it does not, you are a few minutes from the station.
Viaduct Showbar has been part of the quarter since 2005. Leeds Pride comes round every July and became a two-day festival in its 20th year, 2026, and the TransLeeds group led the Pride parade in 2025. The city has its own Trans Pride as well, founded in 2018.
Pride weekend is a busy one, so if you would like a calm first meeting, choose another weekend and save Pride for when you know each other a little better.
Getting out of town together
Roundhay Park
With more than 700 acres of lakes, woods and gardens, Roundhay Park costs nothing to enter and gives you all the space you need for a long, unhurried talk. A daytime walk there is about as relaxed as a first date gets.
Meeting someone from Bradford or Wakefield
West Yorkshire's towns are well linked by rail, so central Leeds is often the fairest place to meet. Pick somewhere public and easy to reach for both of you. If weeknights are tricky, mention on your profile when you are usually around. For more ideas, see our trans first date guide.
Feeling supported in Leeds
The Leeds Gender Identity Service is based at the Newsam Centre at Seacroft Hospital. For company and community, TransLeeds, the trans group that led the city's Pride parade in 2025, is a name worth knowing.
On My Transgender Secret, nobody sees your real name, your profile gives only your nearest town, and you can block a member in a moment. A blue tick means that member has passed a free ID check, and a moderator can confirm anyone by live video without asking for paperwork. Our safety page covers the rest.
If anything ever goes wrong, Galop runs a national helpline for LGBT+ people facing abuse, and Switchboard LGBT+ answers every day for anyone who simply needs to talk.
